Your order is worth the consultation and the acceptance of the general conditions of sale below.

 

1 - PURPOSE 

The general conditions of sale below define the rights, duties and obligations of both parties for online sales. 

 

2 - PRICE AND PAYMENT

We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American express, Cofinoga, ...) and PayPal, with or without paypal account.

You will be redirected via a SECURE CONNECTION, to the PayPal platform payments.

From there you can pay either with your paypal account (if you have one) or directly with your credit card (without needing a Paypal account).

This is valid for a computer.

If you order by phone or tablet, a paypal account is required.

The rate applied is that shown at the time of checkout.

3 - ORDER

Minimum order 10 euros.

The validation of your order is your electronic signature and is equivalent to your handwritten one.

48h00 working hours are needed to process your order upon receipt of your payment. You will be informed of its progress by email.

Upon creation of your account and for all transactions in your account, your browser will automatically enter into secure mode to ensure a total confidentiality of your information.

All transactions are archived and can be reproduced for evidence.

 

4 - WARRANTY

The return of one or more articles is possible within 14 working days after reception of your order.

If this deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday or day off, it will be extended to the first working day thereafter.

You must notify our customer service under the heading "CONTACT USwhich will provide a mailing address.

Items must be returned by registered mail, at your own expenses to.

Any item damaged, washed or worn items will neither be returned nor exchanged.

You can, in the "rights of withdrawal ", ask either for an exchange or a refund, but the expenses of return will be at your own cost.

Your refund will be done in the 8 working days by crediting your bank account.

For shipments of France, the refund will be the amount of the items returned.

For shipments from India, you will be charged for delivery costs, which are indicated on the coupon of the post office in rupees.

The rate applied will be the one of the day of dispatch plus 15% for the costs of packaging.

For any error from our part, all costs will be ours.

For any disputes or complaints, you have to write to our customer service under the heading "CONTACT US" and we will find an amicable solution.

It is your responsibility to make sure the products you order are in accordance with the legislation in force in your country.

We are not responsible for any refusal and / or possible import taxes by your authorities.

Some banks take a commission on a purchase from abroad.

We cannot be held responsible for that and there will be no refunding for these expenses from our part.

The content of this site is the property of SHOP IN INDIA.

You shall not copy, download, reproduce, modify, sell or transmit all or part of the site without the permission from SHOP IN INDIA.

All the pictures of the site have been taken by us.

 

6 - CONFIDENTIALITY

SHOP IN INDIA commits itself to never communicate all or any of your information to a third party.

You can, at any time, ask us by a simple e-mail, to delete your data from our files, except in case of dispute.

 

7 - ARTICLES AND PHOTOS

The articles proposed by SHOP IN INDIA are made in INDIA, of quality, and for most of them realized in local workshops where only adults are working.

The photos are not contractual. Colors can slightly vary and/or certain packaging change.

 

8 - POSTAL CHARGES, DELIVERY AND TRANSPORT

Worldwide Delivery. Free shipping for any order of 45 euros or above.

Items manufactured in Asia (excluding India, see "characteristics" of each product) are shipped from France.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and indicated in your shopping cart and your order.

Delivery time is 48h00 working hours from the date of dispatch (for France), for any additional information or other countries, see "DELIVERY AND TRANSPORT."

Items manufactured in India (see "characteristics" in each product), shipping costs are free and your order is dispatched from PONDICHERY in southern India.

You will be notified by email of the sending of your order along with a photo of the receipt provided by INDIAPOST.

Delivery time is from 6 to 12 business days.

This information comes from Indiapost and we cannot be held responsible in case of their non-respect.

You can get a bill by downloading it from your account, in "History and details of your orders", by clicking on the PDF file or by a simple request to our customer service under the heading "CONTACT US".

It will be sent to you via email and established in the name of the billing address on your order.

The carrier with whom we work is INDIAPOST (the Indian Post office).

In case of a long delay on the time frame announced, please report it to our customer service under the heading "CONTACT US".

We shall find out from our side and send a query to the post office in INDIA.

INDIAPOST can track your order until its delivery.

In most of the cases, the parcel is found and sent back at our expenses at your address.

INDIAPOST closes the request after 60 days, date of the deposit, considering the parcel as lost.

If your order is returned to us as "Unclaimed" or for any other reasons falling under your responsibility, with your post, the expenses of the sending back will be at your own cost.

These expenses are indicated on the coupon of the post office in rupees.

The rate applied will be the one of the day of dispatch plus 15% for the costs of packaging.

All parcels are send by registered mail with a very reliable tracking therefore there is no insurance included.

The items are under your responsibility upon receipt of our email containing a copy of the dispatch slip from INDIAPOST.

In case of problems, we will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible and in the best conditions.

In case of delay, we cannot be held responsible for timely delivery of the post.
